Job summary
Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician for a 12 hour night shift. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing plastic injection molding machines and related equipment, including hydraulic and electrical systems.
You will perform preventive maintenance, document work orders in CMMS, and handle safe forklift operation. The ideal candidate will have experience with hydraulic components, electrical work up to 480V, and a disciplined approach to safety and tool use.
Qualifications
- Maintenance technician with experience in plastic injection molding equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance and work order software.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair plastic injection molding machines and accessories.
- Perform hydraulic repairs including cylinders and components.
- Perform electrical repairs up to 3 phase 480 volts.
- Make plumbing and electrical connections for molding machines and equipment.
- Clean work area and equipment after repairs.
- Operates forklift and hand/power tools safely.
- Complete preventive maintenance checks and update work orders in CMMS.
- Notify Group Leader of replacement parts needed.
