Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Mold Setter to assist in troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of injection molding equipment. You will set molds, perform basic maintenance, and work with technicians to ensure product quality and process efficiency.

The role requires adherence to FDA, GMP, and ISO 13485 standards with a strong focus on safety. The position operates on a 11:00 pm to 7:00 am shift, with responsibilities including preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
• 2 years medical device manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance as assigned.
• Follow GMP, ISO standards, and safety rules.
• Maintain equipment records and order parts as required.
• Use precision tools to inspect or repair molds and machines.
• Diagnose faults and recommend corrective actions.
• Operate production machines and monitor process goals.
• Transport hazardous waste to designated areas.
• Complete annual hazardous waste refresher training.
• Shut down and lockout equipment per safety procedures.
