Job summary

Amcor is seeking a mold maintenance technician to install, set up, and remove molds and to perform preventive maintenance on production equipment. You will work 3:30PM–12:00AM, Monday–Friday, and maintain mold hardware while ensuring safe and efficient operations.

The role requires a high school diploma, own tools, and a tow motor certification, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and pass a Mechanical Comprehension test. ISO/SQF and quality standards apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent attendance and a good work record.
• Familiarity with mold preventative maintenance inspections.
• Good housekeeping skills.
• Able to pass Mechanical Comprehension Test (62%+).
• Knowledge of mold components and related safety practices.
• Own tools and willing to work overtime.
• Tow motor certification required.
• Creative problem solving ability.
• Ability to work independently with some supervision.
• Physical mobility to perform duties (up to 50 pounds).
• Able to work around moving mechanical parts and alarms.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold installation, set-up, and removal.
• Maintain mold-related hardware.
• Fabricate chutes and guards to prevent cap loss and runner loss.
• Keep accurate paperwork.
• Perform any other assigned duties.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, ISO, SQF, and regulatory requirements.
• Report concerns and suggest improvements.
