Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Patient Access Representative II focused on scheduling infusions. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring accurate patient registration, insurance verification, and scheduling across multiple BJC systems.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, educating patients on financial obligations, and adhering to HIPAA and MSP guidelines. The role requires empathy, strong communication, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of experience in patient access or scheduling.
• CHAA certification preferred.
• Associate's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and schedule infusions within multiple BJC systems; verify insurance and collect documents.
• Ensure compliance with MSP, HIPAA, Patient Bill of Rights and other regulations.
• Explain financial responsibilities to patients and collect applicable payments; provide preparation instructions for procedures.
• Accurately select patient from MPI and maintain up-to-date records.
