Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle, WA invites applications for an Infusion RN residency designed for new graduates dedicated to oncology patient care. You will work with preceptors to learn chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and related treatments, while developing strong clinical judgment.

During two weeks of onboarding and ongoing unit orientation, you’ll cover patient assessment, treatment administration, education, and psychosocial support, with shifts that mirror

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must have a current Washington State Registered Nurse Multistate License (MSL) or be able to update to WA MSL within 60 days of hire.
• Oncology experience is preferred; additional training will be provided if needed.
• Current BLS card required every two years.
• ONS Chemotherapy Provider Card required within 3 months of hire.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and clinical judgment; strong time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs; evaluate health changes.
• Develop care plans based on disease, symptoms, and treatment response.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes and treatment side effects.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team for continuity of care.
