Job summary

The RN will assess, plan, and educate patients through infusion therapies, integrating research and evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes. Per diem scheduling offers flexibility and clinical growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current WA State RN Multistate License (MSL) or ability to obtain WA MSL within 60 days.
• Oncology nursing experience desirable with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
• Develop and modify care plans based on disease, symptoms, and treatment response.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment, side effects and symptom management.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team for continuity of care.
• Refer patients to social work, home health, nutrition, and other resources as needed.
• Administer IV hydration, chemotherapy/biotherapy, blood products and monitor responses.
