Job summary

Hire Consulting Services seeks a Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager (PIC) to oversee pharmacy, administrative, and sales operations in alignment with regulatory standards and company policies. The role also monitors financial performance and collaborates with owners to drive clinical implementation and therapy initiatives.

The candidate should hold a B.S or PharmD in good standing with the GA Board of Pharmacy, possess strong communication skills, and have a solid business/financial understanding.

Qualifications

• B.S or PharmD in good standing with GA Board of Pharmacy.
• Strong interpersonal skills with employees, referral sources, physicians, and consumers.
• Excellent written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer skills.
• Solid business and financial understanding to operate a profitable pharmacy.
• Preferred: three years clinical experience.
• Preferred: experience managing pharmacy support personnel.
• Preferred: one year infusion therapy and sterile compounding experience.
• Preferred: sterile compounding training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of pharmacy, admin, and sales in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Maintain physical organization of the pharmacy.
• Serve as liaison between management and staff.
• Hire, orient, and evaluate employees within departments.
• Uphold regulatory mandates on health care provision.
• Implement and uphold company policies for service delivery.
• Participate in strategic planning to increase revenue and improve care quality.
• Maintain USP <797> knowledge for sterility and stability of compounded sterile preparations.
• Lead performance improvement processes and assign staff to initiatives.
• Review charts and lab results for therapeutic appropriateness and cost effectiveness.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate clinical information to physicians and healthcare team.
• Supervise compounding, packaging, and labeling of products.
• Assist in training new employees and orientation; support performance improvement activities.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
