Job summary

Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC in Decatur, GA seeks a Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager (PIC) to oversee pharmacy, administrative, and sales operations in line with regulatory and organizational policies. The Manager supervises financial performance and communicates with owners on financial and clinical implementation issues.

The role requires GA-Board-qualified pharmacists with strong people skills and customer service excellence, plus business acumen.

Qualifications

• Requires B.S or PharmD in good standing with the GA Board of Pharmacy.
• Strong interaction skills with staff, referral sources, physicians, and patients.
• Excellent written and verbal customer service and advanced computer skills.
• Business and financial understanding for profitable operation.
• Preferred: three years clinical experience.
• Preferred: experience managing pharmacy support staff.
• Preferred: at least one year infusion therapy and sterile compounding experience.
• Preferred: sterile compounding training.

Responsibilities

• Perform pharmacy management activities compliant with regulatory standards and policies.
• Oversee physical maintenance and organization of the pharmacy.
• Liaise between Board of Management and staff.
• Interview, orient, and evaluate employees across departments.
• Uphold regulatory mandates on health care provision by professionals.
• Resolve questions and issues for departments and staff.
• Implement and uphold company policies and procedures for consumers.
• Contribute to strategic planning to increase revenue and improve care.
• Maintain USP <797> knowledge to ensure quality and sterility of compounding.
• Lead performance improvement processes and assign staff to projects.
• Review charts and lab results for acceptance and device/therapy selection.
• Evaluate medication orders for therapeutic appropriateness, cost, safety.
• Monitor patient progress and share clinical information with physicians.
• Supervise pharmacy staff in compounding, packaging, labeling.
• Assist in training new employees and educational programs.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
