Job summary

Calqulate Metrics Ltd is seeking a Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager (PIC) to oversee pharmacy operations, admin, and sales across departments in compliance with regulations. The role includes financial oversight and collaboration with owners on performance and clinical implementation of therapies.

The candidate should have a PharmD or BS in good standing with the GA Board of Pharmacy, strong communication skills, and experience in infusion therapy and sterile compounding.

Qualifications

• B.S or PharmD in good standing with the GA Board of Pharmacy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with staff, referral sources, physicians, and patients.
• Excellent written and verbal customer service and advanced computer skills.
• Business and financial understanding of operating a profitable pharmacy.
• Three years of clinical experience preferred.
• Experience managing pharmacy support personnel preferred.
• One year of infusion therapy and sterile compounding experience preferred.
• Sterile compounding training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs pharmacy management activities in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards and organizational policies.
• Oversees the physical maintenance and organization of the pharmacy.
• Acts as a liaison between the Board of Managements and staff.
• Interviews, orients, and evaluates employees within company departments.
• Upholds regulatory mandates on the provision of health care by professionals.
• Resolves questions, problems, and issues across departments.
• Implements and upholds company policies, procedures, and protocols for consumers.
• Participates in strategic planning to increase revenue and improve quality of care.
• Maintains knowledge of USP chapters to assure sterility and quality of compounded preparations.
• Oversees performance improvement processes and assigns staff to activities.
• Reviews charts and lab results for product and device selection and supply management.
• Evaluates physician orders for therapeutic appropriateness, cost, safety, and completeness.
• Monitors patient progress and communicates results to physicians and the healthcare team.
• supervises the pharmacy staff in compounding, packaging, and labeling.
• Assists in training and orientation of new employees and performance improvement activities.
• Participates in on-call rotation as needed.
