Job summary

Hire Consulting Services seeks a Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager (PIC) to oversee the operations of pharmacy, administrative/clerical, and sales departments in compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. You will evaluate financial status and communicate with owners on finance, performance improvement, and clinical implementation of therapies.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and experience in infusion therapy, sterile compounding, and personnel

Qualifications

• Active licensure with the Georgia Board of Pharmacy is required.
• Excellent written and verbal customer service skills.
• Strong business and financial understanding of operating a profitable pharmacy.
• Good interactive skills with employees, referral sources, physicians, and consumers.

Responsibilities

• Performs pharmacy management activities in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards and organizational policies.
• Oversees the physical maintenance and organization of the pharmacy.
• Acts as a liaison between the Board of Management and staff.
• Interviews, orients, and evaluates employees within company departments.
• Upholds regulatory mandates on the provision of health care by professionals.
• Resolves questions, problems, and issues for departments and staff.
• Implements and upholds company policies, procedures, and protocols for consumers.
• Participates in strategic planning to increase revenue and improve quality of care.
• Maintains USP <797> knowledge to ensure sterility of compounded preparations.
• Manages performance improvement processes and assigns staff to activities.
• Reviews charts and lab results for product selection and supply management.
• Evaluates physician medication orders for therapeutic appropriateness and safety.
• Monitors patient progress and communicates results to the physician and healthcare team.
• Supervises the pharmacy staff in compounding, packaging, and labeling.
• Assists in training and orientation of new employees and performance programs.
• Participates in on-call rotation as needed.
