Job summary

Genie Matthews and Associates in Decatur, GA seeks a Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager (PIC) to oversee operations across pharmacy, admin, and sales while ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to policies. The Manager will monitor financial performance, communicate with owners and the corporate office, and guide clinical implementation of therapies.

This role requires strong leadership, stellar customer service, and solid computer skills; preferred candidates have sterile compounding

Qualifications

• Must have B.S or PharmD in good standing with GA Board of Pharmacy.
• Excellent written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer skills.
• Business and financial understanding of operating a profitable business.
• Three years clinical experience preferred.
• Experience managing pharmacy support personnel preferred.
• Sterile compounding experience preferred; sterile compounding training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs pharmacy management activities in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards and organizational policies.
• Oversees the physical maintenance and organization of the pharmacy.
• Acts as a liaison between the Board of Managements and staff.
• Interviews, orients, and evaluates employees within company departments.
• Upholds regulatory mandates on the provision of health care by professionals.
• Implements and upholds company policies and protocols in serving consumers.
• Participates in strategic planning to increase revenue and improve care quality.
• Maintains knowledge of USP <797> for sterile compounding quality and sterility.
• Oversees performance improvement processes and assigns staff to activities.
• Reviews charts and lab results for acceptance, device and supply management.
• Evaluates physician medication orders for safety, cost, and effectiveness.
• Monitors patient progress and communicates results to the healthcare team.
• Supervises pharmacy staff in compounding, packaging, and labeling.
• Assists in training and orientation of new employees and ongoing programs.
• Participates in on-call rotation as needed.
