Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. You will deliver infusion care, administer chemotherapy and related therapies, and monitor patient responses in a high-standard oncology setting.

Requirements include an active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least one year of oncology RN experience. Competitive per-shift pay and dedicated career support are provided.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
• Minimum one year of RN Oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.
• Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols.
• Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care.
