Job summary

Confidential in Lewiston, Maine is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse to provide direct care in an infusion setting, administer chemotherapy and related therapies, and monitor patient response.

Requirements include active Maine RN license, BLS and ACLS on hire, and at least one year of oncology RN experience; assignment length is 12 weeks with weekly pay and dedicated career support.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the applicable state.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification on hire.
• Current ACLS (AHA) certification on hire.
• Minimum of 1 year oncology RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and symptom management.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and coordinate care with the oncology team.
