Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse in Lewiston, Maine, to provide infusion care for oncology patients. The role requires current RN licensure, BLS and ACLS on hire, and at least one year of RN oncology experience.

Shifts are Days, with a 12-week assignment length and pay up to $672–$768 per shift ($56.00–$64.00 per hour). Weekly pay and dedicated career support are provided.

Qualifications

Current and valid state RN license.
BLS (AHA) required at hire and maintained.
ACLS (AHA) required at hire and maintained.
Minimum one year RN Oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting.
Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol.
Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.
Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols.
Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians.
Maintain accurate documentation and HIPAA compliance.
Collaborate with oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care.
