Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking an Infusion Nurse II in Houston, TX to coordinate and provide intermediate direct patient care in the home or alternate infusion suite. You will operate under supervision and collaborate with physicians to ensure patient safety and compliance with plans of care.

Responsibilities include initiating nursing plans, assessing patient needs during visits, mentoring Infusion Nurse I staff, and maintaining accurate documentation for billing and care continuity.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plan of care treatments, evaluating patient progress.
• Organizes and participates in direct patient care, administers medications, and educates patients/families.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I’s to ensure safety and compliance.
• Communicates with clinical teams and documents care in real-time for billing and care continuity.
