Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking an Infusion Nurse II in Houston, TX, part-time to coordinate and provide intermediate direct patient care in the home or alternate infusion suite under a physician’s plan of care.

Responsibilities include initiating nursing plans, assessing patients, teaching patients and families, and documenting care while ensuring compliance with policies and timelines.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required (in-person class).

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plan of care treatments while educating patients/families.
• Assesses patient needs at each skilled visit and communicates changes to physicians.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I’s to ensure safety and compliance.
• Documents care in real time and supports billing processes with accurate records.
• Coordinates discharge planning and prepares summaries with patient instructions.
