Job summary

Option Care Health Inc. seeks an Infusion Nurse II to coordinate and provide intermediate direct patient care in the home or an infusion suite. You will work under supervision to ensure patient safety and adherence to a physician’s plan of care.

You will initiate plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless care transitions and timely documentation for billing purposes.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR certification required.
• Infusion nursing experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle for travel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle field equipment.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plans of care.
• Performs treatments, administers medications, and educates patients and families.
• Modifies plan of treatment based on patient status and physician orders.
• Coordinates discharge planning and prepares discharge summaries.
• Communicates with clinical team and providers to ensure continuity of care.
