Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator—an Infusion Guide—to elevate patient care in infusion therapy. This full-time onsite role is based in Morristown, NJ, with a typical schedule of Mon–Fri, 9:00–5:30.

The Infusion Guide coordinates referrals, authorizations, and patient and physician service to ensure timely, accurate coverage and high-quality care. Starting salary at $25 per hour with quarterly bonuses and full benefits; comprehensive training and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Passion for Patient Care and delivering exceptional patient experiences.
• Healthcare experience required.
• Infusion experience preferred.
• Insurance prior authorization experience.
• Medical terminology experience.
• Overall medical insurance experience.
• Ability to quickly grasp new apps.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process; obtaining authorizations, financial counseling, benefit investigation.
• Liaise with referring providers to obtain documentation and communicate patient status.
• Communicate referral process and status to patients in a customer-centric way.
• Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers.
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies.
• Dedicated 6-week training plan to help you succeed.
