Local Infusion, based in McKinney, TX, seeks an Insurance & Intake Coordinator (Infusion Guide) to ensure smooth patient referrals, authorizations, and billing support. This full-time onsite role offers predictable hours and a path to growth within a fast-growing infusion care company.

You will handle authorizations, insurance coordination, and patient communication, while collaborating with clinicians and referring providers to ensure high-quality care and efficient workflows.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience is required.
• Infusion-specific experience preferred.
• Experience with insurance prior authorizations.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Solid understanding of medical insurance basics.
• Proficient with Electronic Health Records systems.
• Ability to quickly learn new apps and tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage the infusion referral process, including authorizations.
• Coordinate financial counseling and benefit investigations.
• Liaise with referring providers for required documentation.
• Communicate referral status to patients in a patient-friendly manner.
• Coordinate with providers to ensure timely treatment documentation.
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies.
