Job summary

Local Infusion is hiring an Insurance & Intake Coordinator, an "Infusion Guide", to support referral and intake coordination with exceptional patient service. This full-time, on-site role is based at our Alpharetta, GA center with a typical M-F, 8:00am–4:30pm schedule.

The ideal candidate has healthcare experience, exposure to insurance authorizations, and proficiency with EHR systems. We offer comprehensive benefits and a quarterly performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Health care experience required; infusion knowledge preferred.
• Experience with insurance pre-authorizations and medical terminology.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and patient communication.

Responsibilities

• Handle infusion referral process and obtain authorizations.
• Provide financial counseling and benefit investigation.
• Communicate status to patients and referring providers.
• Coordinate with referring doctors for documentation.
• Maintain medical inventory and office supplies.
• Participate in a structured 6-week training plan.
