Job summary

Local Infusion in Mason, OH is hiring an Insurance & Intake Coordinator—an “Infusion Guide”—to streamline referrals, pre-authorizations, and patient care. This full-time onsite role follows a M-F, 8:00am–4:30pm schedule. Ideal candidates have experience reading medical charts and handling insurance pre-authorizations.

You will coordinate authorizations, communicate with providers and patients, and support the team with training and compliance as the company grows in infusion therapy.

Qualifications

• Health care experience required.
• Prior authorization experience with insurance processes.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Infusion experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process including authorizations and financial counseling.
• Liaise with referring providers to obtain documentation and update status.
• Communicate referral process and status to patients in a customer-centric way.
• Coordinate with referring/prescribing providers and maintain clear communication.
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies.
• Undergo a dedicated 6-week training plan to ensure success.
