Job summary

Local Infusion in Morristown, NJ is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator, an “Infusion Guide,” to elevate patient care through precise referral and intake coordination and excellent customer service. This full-time onsite role offers Monday–Friday, 9:00–5:30 with salary starting at $25/hour plus quarterly bonuses and full benefits.

You will handle authorizations, benefit investigations, and liaison with providers, while supporting patients and clinicians with timely communications and care

Qualifications

• Health Care Experience Required
• Prior Authorization Experience in Insurance (Preferred)
• Medical Terminology Experience
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of infusion referral process; obtain authorizations, financial counseling, benefit investigation
• Liaison with referring providers to obtain documentation and communicate status of patients
• Communicate referral process and status to patients in a customer-centric way
• Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies
• Dedicated 6 week training plan to help you succeed in your role
