Job summary

AmeriPharma is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in home infusion therapy to join our team. This role requires in-home visits to administer infusion therapy, educate patients, and coordinate with pharmacy departments to ensure seamless care.

Under the Director of Nursing, the RN will perform assessments, document care, and tailor plans for both adult and pediatric patients, including therapies like IVIG and IV biologics, while maintaining high standards of patient safety

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current RN state license.
• 2+ years of experience in home infusion and infusion centers.
• 2+ years with IV Immunoglobulins and IV Biologics; CRNI preferred.
• Experience with peripheral IV starts, infusion therapy, and phlebotomy for adults and pediatrics.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills.
• CPR and BLS certification; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home infusion visits per the care plan.
• Prepare nursing notes and document interventions in clinical/non-clinical records.
• Serve as a clinical resource and collaborate with pharmacy teams.
• Educate patients on therapy protocols, side effects, and home infusion procedures.
• Ensure patients understand therapy plans, medications, and adherence importance.
• Perform initial and periodic assessments and revise care plans as needed.
• Coordinate communication between patient, family, and pharmacy to ensure seamless care.
