Job summary

AmeriPharma seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with home infusion expertise to join our team. This role blends infusion therapy with patient education and delivers in-home care to patients receiving treatments such as IVIG and IV biologics.

Under the Director of Nursing, the RN will perform visits, education, documentation, and coordination with the pharmacy to ensure adherence to plans. Per diem, flexible hours, independent contractor arrangement.

Qualifications

Must hold an accredited nursing degree and current RN license.
2+ years of experience in home infusion and infusion centers.
Experience with IV immunoglobulins and IV biologics; CRNI preferred.
Experience with peripheral IV starts, infusion therapy, and phlebotomy for adults and pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-home infusion therapy visits according to the plan of care.
Prepare nursing notes and document patient interventions.
Act as a clinical resource, coordinating with pharmacy departments.
Educate patients on therapy protocols, drug side effects, and home infusion procedures.
Ensure patients understand therapy plans and adherence.
Serve as patient liaison between patient, family, and pharmacy; coordinate care.
Perform head-to-toe assessments; initiate preventative and rehabilitative care.
Develop care plans with skilled interventions and necessary services.
Regularly evaluate patient progress and revise care plans as needed.
