Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator—an “Infusion Guide”—to elevate infusion therapy care. You will coordinate referrals, authorizations, financial counseling, and benefits investigations while delivering exceptional patient service.

This full-time, onsite role is based in Jacksonville, FL, with a M-F, 8:00am–4:30pm schedule and a comprehensive onboarding plan. The ideal candidate has healthcare and infusion exposure, prior-authorization experience, familiarity with EHR

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience is required.
• Infusion experience is preferred.
• Insurance prior authorization experience is desired.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Ability to quickly grasp new apps and workflows.
• Strong communication with patients, clinicians and providers.

Responsibilities

• Handle infusion referral process and authorizations.
• Coordinate financial counseling and benefit investigations.
• Liaise with referring providers to obtain documentation.
• Communicate referral status to patients clearly.
• Engage with referring/prescribing providers.
• Support inventory and office supplies; training plan provided.
