Job summary

Local Infusion in Florida is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator, an Infusion Guide, to raise the bar in infusion therapy care. This full-time on-site role focuses on detailed referral and intake coordination with excellent patient and physician service.

The Infusion Guide will ensure patients receive high-quality care, with prior authorization experience and medical terminology knowledge being highly valued for success and career growth.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience required.
• Prior infusion experience preferred.
• Insurance prior authorization experience helpful.
• Medical terminology knowledge required.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR).

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process including authorizations and financial counseling.
• Liaise with referring providers to obtain documentation and update on patient status.
• Communicate referral process and status to patients clearly.
• Coordinate with prescribing providers to ensure smooth referrals.
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies.
• Complete a dedicated 6-week training plan to ensure success.
