Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator, an "Infusion Guide", to drive growth through detailed referral coordination and excellent customer service. This full-time, onsite Florida role supports patients and clinicians with insurance authorizations and pre-authorization workflows.

Ideal candidates read medical charts, understand insurance processes, and are committed to providing high-quality infusion care. Mon-Fri, 8:00-4:30, with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Passion for patient care and delivering great experiences.
• Healthcare experience required for the role.
• Infusion experience is a plus.
• Experience with insurance pre-authorizations.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Experience with medical insurance processes and billing.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process, including authorizations and financial counseling.
• Liaise with referring providers to obtain documentation and communicate patient status.
• Explain referral process and status to patients in a customer-centric way.
• Coordinate with referring/prescribing providers to ensure timely treatment.
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies.
• Participate in a structured 6-week training plan to ensure success.
