Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator—an “Infusion Guide”—dedicated to elevating infusion therapy. You will manage the referral and intake process, obtain authorizations, provide financial counseling, and support patients and providers with a focus on exceptional service.

The role is full-time, onsite in Frisco, TX, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with prior experience reading medical charts and insurance pre-authorizations preferred.

Qualifications

• Health care experience required.
• Prior infusion experience preferred.
• Experience with insurance pre-authorizations.
• Medical terminology knowledge.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
• Ability to quickly learn new apps and adapt to processes.

Responsibilities

• Handle infusion referral process and obtain authorizations.
• Provide financial counseling and benefits investigation.
• Liaise with referring providers and communicate patient status.
• Share referral status with patients in a customer-centric way.
• Maintain medical inventory and office supplies.
• Participate in a structured 6-week training plan.
