Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator—an Infusion Guide—to coordinate referrals, authorizations, and patient communications. This full-time onsite role is based in Frisco, TX, with a M-F, 8:00am - 4:30pm schedule. Prior experience with insurance pre-authorizations and reading medical charts is preferred.

• Healthcare experience required.
• Prior authorization experience preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge required.
• Familiarity with EHR systems helpful.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process and obtain authorizations.
• Coordinate with referring providers and communicate status of patients.
• Provide clear referrals and status updates to patients in a patient-centric way.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure necessary documentation for treatment.
