Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking an Insurance & Intake Coordinator—an "Infusion Guide"—to join our team in McKinney, TX. You will coordinate referrals, obtain authorizations, and provide exceptional customer and physician support to ensure patients receive high-quality infusion therapy.

The role offers predictable hours (M-F, 8:00am–4:30pm) and on-site work with a focus on patient care. Prior experience reading charts and handling insurance pre-authorizations is preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience reading medical charts and insurance pre-authorizations.
• Prior infusion experience preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle infusion referral process and authorizations.
• Liaise with referring providers for documentation and status.
• Communicate referral process and status to patients.
• Communicate with referring/prescribing providers.
• Maintain medical inventory and office supplies.
• Complete a 6-week training plan.
