Job summary

Local Infusion in Warrensville Heights, OH is hiring an Insurance & Intake Coordinator—an “Infusion Guide”—to raise the bar in infusion therapy care. This full-time onsite role offers predictable hours (Mon-Fri, 8:00 a.m.

- 4:30 p.m.) and the chance to impact patients by streamlining referrals, authorizations, and patient communications. You will work with paperwork and insurance workflows, read medical charts, and partner with clinicians and providers to ensure timely access to infusion

Qualifications

• Health Care Experience Required
• Prior Experience in Infusion is Preferred
• Insurance Prior Authorization Experience
• Medical Terminology Experience
• Overall Medical Insurance Experience
• Ability to quickly grasp new apps
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
• Health care industry knowledge and patient-centric mindset

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process; obtaining authorizations, financial counseling, benefit investigation
• Liaison with referring providers to obtain documentation for treatment and communicate status
• Communicate referral process and status to patients in a customer-centric way
• Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies
• Dedicated 6 week training plan to help you succeed in your role
