Job summary

Local Infusion seeks an Insurance & Intake Coordinator, an "Infusion Guide" who is passionate about elevating infusion therapy care. The Infusion Guide will drive referrals, pre-authorizations, and patient/customer service to ensure top-tier care.

This full-time on-site role is based in Fort Worth, TX with a Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm schedule. Prior authorization and medical chart review experience are preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Health care experience required.
• Prior infusion experience preferred.
• Insurance prior authorization experience.
• Medical terminology knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of the infusion referral process; obtaining authorizations and benefits.
• Liaise with referring providers to obtain documentation for treatment.
• Communicate referral status to patients in a customer-centric way.
• Communicate openly with referring/prescribing providers.
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and office supplies.
• Participate in a dedicated 6 week training plan.
