Vivo Infusion in Westlake, OH is seeking a dedicated Clinical Service Specialist to manage patient scheduling, benefits verification, and insurance authorizations. The role supports medical staff, processes payments, and coordinates front-end operations within a patient-centered infusion center.

The ideal candidate has healthcare admin experience, strong communication skills, and knowledge of medical terminology.

Qualifications

• 2 years of administrative experience in a healthcare environment.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Experience with insurance authorizations, benefits verifications, and billing is preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages front-end operations of the infusion center: phones, greeting patients, payments, deliveries, and mail.
• Review patient cancellations and reschedule treatments; remind patients of appointments.
• Process invoices, connect with Clinic Manager to authorize payment, and forward to Accounts Payable.
• Schedule patients for follow-up infusion treatments with Patient Care Navigator team.
• Collaborate with referring providers to obtain and file medical records; maintain HIPAA compliant records.
• Maintain information systems, statistics, and prepare reports as requested by Clinic Manager.
• Assist with clinical inventory management.
• Foster positive relationships with staff, referring offices, and external agencies.
• Potential travel to other local Vivo clinics for administrative support.
