Vivo Infusion is seeking a professional Clinical Service Specialist to support infusion center operations in North Haven, CT. You will manage front-end activities, schedule patients, verify insurance benefits, and obtain necessary authorizations for treatments.

The role requires healthcare admin experience, strong communication, and HIPAA-compliant recordkeeping, with potential local travel to other Vivo clinics as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant Certification or Medical Office experience preferred.
• 1 year handling insurance authorizations, benefits verifications, and billing preferred.
• Strong medical terminology knowledge required.
• Active CPR/BLS before start is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage front-end operations: phones, patient check-in, payments, and mailing tasks.
• Review cancellations and reschedule treatments; notify care team; remind upcoming appointments.
• Process invoices, verify accuracy, and coordinate with accounts payable.
• Schedule follow-up infusions in collaboration with the Patient Care Navigator team.
• Obtain and organize medical records with referring providers, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain electronic records and generate reports for Clinic Manager.
