Vivo Infusion in Ann Arbor, MI seeks a Clinical Service Specialist to manage front-end operations, scheduling, and benefits verification in a busy infusion center. You will support medical staff, verify insurance, secure authorizations, and maintain patient records with HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• 2 years of administrative experience in a healthcare environment.
• Medical Assistant Certification or Medical Office experience preferred.
• 1 year working with insurance authorizations, benefits verifications, and billing preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• CPR/BLS prior to starting work required.
• Typing speed 50+ wpm; proficient in MS Office and billing databases.

Responsibilities

• Manages all front-end operations of the infusion center; greet patients, answer calls, process payments, and oversee mail.
• Review patient cancellations, reschedule treatments, and notify staff; remind patients of upcoming appointments.
• Receive invoices, verify accuracy, authorize payments with Clinic Manager, and forward to Accounts Payable.
• Schedule patients for follow-up infusions; coordinate with Patient Care Navigator team.
• Collaborate with referring providers to obtain and file medical records; maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain statistical records, prepare reports, and assist with inventory management.
• Develop positive relationships with staff, providers, and external partners.
