Job summary

Vivo Infusion in North Haven, CT is seeking a Clinical Service Specialist to join our infusion team. This role focuses on scheduling, authorizations, and verifying patient benefits to ensure smooth clinical operations.

The ideal candidate has healthcare administrative experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. The position offers a full-time schedule Tuesday–Saturday, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2 years of administrative experience in a healthcare environment.
• Medical Assistant Certification or Medical Office experience preferred.
• Active CPR/BLS required before starting work.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manages front-end operations: answering calls, greeting patients, maintaining a clean environment, processing payments, deliveries, and mail.
• Reviews patient cancellations and reschedules treatments; notifies Clinical Operations Manager and nursing staff as needed; reminders for upcoming appointments.
• Receives deliveries, reviews invoices, authorizes payment with Clinic Manager, and forwards to Accounts Payable.
• Schedules patients for follow-up infusions with Patient Care Navigator team.
• Collaborates with referring providers to obtain and file medical records; maintains HIPAA-compliant records.
• Maintains stats and prepares reports; uses information systems; supports inventory management with the Clinical Operations Manager.
