Seattle Children’s is seeking a Family Service Coordinator to plan and coordinate non-oncology specialty infusion services across our sites. You will schedule complex infusion appointments, diagnostic testing, and lab tracking while coordinating with Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, and Allergy/Immunology teams.

You will arrange interpreters and support resources to ensure positive, efficient patient encounters.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent; knowledge of Medical terminology; minimum of one year experience as a Family Service Coordinator or equivalent clinical scheduling, reception/coordinator experience.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate infusion services for patients and families across multiple sites to ensure positive, professional, and efficient encounters.
• Schedule complex initial, induction, and recurring maintenance infusion appointments; coordinate diagnostic tests and lab tracking.
• Coordinate across multidisciplinary specialty services (e.g., Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Allergy/Immunology).
• Arrange language interpreters and other support resources as needed.
• Collaborate with the hospital pre-authorization team to secure approvals and align medication delivery with pharmacy.
• Fulfill site-specific chair utilization requirements to maximize capacity and minimize wait times; address just-in-time needs in alignment with organizational standards.

Formação académica

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate’s Degree or two years of college in health care
