Palmetto Infusion seeks a Patient Services Coordinator to manage infusion clinic scheduling, review patient ambulation, lab results, and clearance needs. Although often focused on scheduling, this role also supports patient onboarding, coordinating with providers and insurance processes to ensure smooth care transitions.

The position emphasizes teamwork, adaptability in a changing environment, and a compassionate approach to patients and families served by Palmetto Infusion.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 year of scheduling and customer service experience.
• Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm.
• Team player and able to develop cooperative working relationships with Palmetto Infusion staff.

Mansioni

• Schedules initial patient appointments and ongoing scheduling, including rescheduling and follow-up.
• Monitors therapy frequency and modifies appointments for adherence.
• Makes outbound calls to set up appointments and coordinate changes.
• Interprets physician orders and medical records for patient onboarding and retention.
• Coordinates with internal and external partners to resolve patient care barriers.
• Obtains medical records to support insurance authorizations as needed.
