Job summary

Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities seeks an Infrastructure Specialist Associate in Columbus to support end users with technical solutions and reports. You will learn hardware/software administration, document processes, and assist higher-level staff to resolve IT issues while maintaining security standards.

The role offers full-time, on-site work at the Columbus Developmental Center with Kronos timekeeping and payroll support tasks.

Qualifications

• 18 months' combined work experience and/or training in a single technology domain.
• Or completion of IT Apprenticeship program at designated agency.
• Or completion of associate core program in computer science or information systems.

Responsibilities

• Answers questions from end users and provides technical solutions to meet business needs.
• Assists with producing various reports for the center.
• Receives training to install, maintain, configure, upgrade, and administer hardware/software in one tech domain.
• Develops and maintains documentation.
• Gains Tier II–III customer support skills via training and guidance from higher-level staff.
• Interfaces with other platforms from a hardware/software perspective (e.g., video conference equipment).
