Luster seeks Safety Managers to support large, complex heavy civil infrastructure programs across highways, bridges, transit, airports, and water projects in Washington, DC. The role encompasses enforcing contractual safety requirements, reviewing plans, and leading audits to ensure controls are in place.

You may oversee staff across several contracts and coordinate with regulators as needed. Salary ranges from $110,000 to $185,000 per year, with a comprehensive benefits package and

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health, safety engineering, construction management, civil engineering, or related field.
• Active OSHA-30 certification.
• 5+ years of construction safety experience for large, complex heavy‑civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience developing or reviewing site‑specific safety plans and hazard analyses against contract and regulatory requirements.
• Experience leading field safety staff on an active construction site.
• Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Lead program‑level safety governance across concurrent construction contracts and develop enterprise safety procedures and audit protocols.
• Review site‑specific safety plans, job hazard analyses, and activity hazard analyses for conformance with requirements.
• Audit contractor safety performance in the field and observe high‑hazard activities to confirm controls in place.
• Drive corrective action through to verified closure.
• Oversee incident investigation and ensure corrective actions are implemented and effective.
• Coordinate safety planning across overlapping contractor operations and schedule sequencing.
• Analyze safety indicators and report trends to program leadership.
