Job summary

NYC Department of Design and Construction seeks an Inter-Agency Coordinator to join the Front-End Planning – DEP/DOT Coordination teams. Qualifications

One year of full-time project management experience on engineering/architectural/landscape projects or large construction projects valued at $1,000,000+.
A bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, architecture, landscape architecture, construction, planning, or related field with one year of project management experience.
Alternatively, a four-year high school diploma with five years of relevant experience or a combination to meet five years total.

Responsibilities

Review proposed conceptual/schematic designs and assist in developing final project scopes, cost estimates, and baseline schedules.
Conduct data assessments, site visits, and identify feasibility and constructability issues; propose alternatives.
Coordinate with agencies (DOT, DEP, DPR, OMB, City Hall, Community Boards) and prepare presentation materials.
Maintain and update project tracking systems in the agency database.
