Job summary

City of New York seeks Inter-Agency Coordinators to join the Program Management Unit – Front-End Planning for DEP Coordination or DOT Coordination. The role centers on scope development for capital infrastructure projects including water, sewer, and roadway improvements, with an emphasis on DEP/DOT facilities and runoffs.

Responsibilities include reviewing conceptual designs, developing final scopes, cost estimates, and baselines, plus data assessment and site visits.

Qualifications

• Four-year diploma or equivalent with five years of project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering/construction fields can substitute for experience.
• License as a PE/Architect/Landscape Architect qualifies for assignment levels.
• Driver license valid in New York; always maintained during employment.

Responsibilities

• Review proposed designs and help develop comprehensive project scopes.
• Prepare cost estimates, baseline schedules, and feasibility analyses.
• Conduct site visits and identify constructability issues and solutions.
• Coordinate with DOT, DEP, and other agencies; prepare reports and materials.
