Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Utah is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer III to strengthen production reliability and scale across platforms. You will apply your deep knowledge of infrastructure, Windows and Linux, and release governance to support multiple environments.

Collaborate with SRE, networking, and development teams, use Jira/Confluence, and leverage AI-assisted insights while maintaining data sensitivity and security. This role emphasizes proactive capacity planning and robust runbooks.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience with production and non-production environments across platforms.
• Deployment, upgrades, and rollback changes with attention to risk.
• Experience on Windows and/or Linux server environments.
• Knowledge of runbooks, release steps, and operational procedures.
• Incident diagnosis and rapid remediation under time pressure.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams including SRE and network teams.
• Familiar with Jira and Confluence and AI-augmented workflows.

Responsibilities

• Execute configuration, operational changes, and releases across production and lower environments with post-deployment validation.
• Provide production reliability through day-to-day support, incident troubleshooting, and environment readiness.
• Manage user endpoints and VDI/virtual desktops (prefer AWS Workspaces).
• Apply problem-solving to moderate-scope initiatives focusing on data and system scale, with monitoring.
• Drive capacity process by identifying risks and using AI to accelerate monitoring and documentation.
• Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities with validation and data sensitivity awareness.
• Apply reuse-first, AI-assisted approaches to remediation workflows aligned to resiliency and security.
