New Relic, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT Engineering team, focusing on network infrastructure and enterprise AI enablement.

You will build and operate the networks that keep our global workforce connected and secure, and you will help deploy AI tools that make the company faster. This is an engineering role centered on automation, scalability, and reliability, with opportunities to lead projects and shape the roadmap while partnering with Security, Compliance,

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in network, infrastructure, or IT engineering.
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, TLS, VPN, proxy, firewall) and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience managing Meraki or comparable enterprise network infrastructure.
• Experience working with ISPs and carriers, including circuit management and outage escalation.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise AI or LLM platforms (Gemini, Claude or similar).
• Proficiency in a scripting or programming language and REST APIs.
• Understanding of data security principles as they apply to AI usage (data classification, DLP, least privilege).
• Clear written and verbal communication; able to document designs and teach others.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve core network infrastructure across global offices.
• Design, deploy, and manage Meraki infrastructure using dashboard and APIs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve office network issues (Wi-Fi, VLAN, DHCP, DNS).
• Manage ISP relationships, including circuit procurement, installs, renewals, SLAs, outages.
• Plan and execute office network builds, moves, and refreshes with Facilities and Security.
• Design, deploy, and operate security infrastructure (Cloudflare Zero Trust, VPN, firewall).
• Monitor network health, respond to incidents, and drive root-cause fixes.
• Maintain network documentation (architecture diagrams, IP plans, runbooks, SOPs).
• Deploy and administer enterprise AI platforms (Gemini Enterprise, Claude).
• Build AI-powered automations; design AI usage controls and data protection.
• Evaluate new AI tools and run pilots with measurable impact.
• Build integrations and automation using scripts and APIs; assist IT Support.
• Participate in global on-call rotation.
