Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks an IT support specialist to assist with day-to-day IT support, troubleshoot, and support internal applications, reports, and integrations.

You will write and test SQL queries, assist with Epicor Prophet 21 ERP, help develop automation for business processes, and participate in software testing and documentation. 3-year experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of IT experience in software development, reporting, or related technical roles.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, SSRS, C#, PowerShell, Power Automate, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Windows desktop support, Active Directory/Entra ID, and Microsoft Forms experience.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• ERP or business systems experience, preferably Epicor Prophet 21.
• Knowledge of Git and Microsoft DevOps for source control.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS or equivalent experience.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in an IT role involving software development, database/reporting, operations, or a related technical role
• Knowledge of SQL Server, SSRS, C#, Microsoft PowerShell, Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft 365 administration, Windows desktop support, Active Directory / Entra ID, and Microsoft Forms
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain a high sense of urgency

• ERP or business systems experience, preferably Epicor Prophet 21
• Knowledge of source control tools such as Git and Microsoft DevOps
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
• Ability to lift and transport computer equipment up to 50 pounds when needed
• Occasional travel between company facilities as and when needed
• Legal authorization to work in the US
