Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking an experienced IT security engineer in Atlanta to lead identity and access governance initiatives. You will manage Active Directory, Entra ID, PKI, MFA, and Zero Trust architectures, and mentor the operations team.

This role requires 8+ years in information systems and security, strong PowerShell scripting, and the ability to implement compliance with SOX, HIPAA, PCI, and GDPR. You will participate in on-call rotations and support change control processes.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in information systems, networking, telecommunications, systems development and management, or equivalent education and experience
• Significant experience with multiple technical and business disciplines
• Active Directory forest and domain architecture expertise
• Federation technologies, PKI, MFA, Zero Trust, GPOs, Kerberos

Responsibilities

• Solve problems, perform analysis, research, and test functions for systems and networks
• Provide trouble resolution for complex problems
• Serve as escalation point for complex system issues and resolutions
• Develop root cause analysis activities to resolve significant system issues
• Provide advanced technical guidance and leadership to technical engineers
• Represent major upgrades and business system replacements in change control
• Develop reports supporting management strategy and direction
• Mentor operations team members
• Lead incident recoveries and organize analysts' recovery efforts
• Lead root cause analysis efforts
• Conduct security assessments, audits, and remediation activities
