Job summary

Stinson LLP is seeking an Information Governance specialist to serve as the primary IG point of contact for software and hardware used by Information Governance. The role includes implementing, training, troubleshooting, version testing, and ensuring data quality across DMS and records systems.

You will collaborate with staff to coordinate information sharing with document management systems and network shares to support compliance with guidelines and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with courses in records management, business law, or computer technology.
• 3–5 years' experience in information management with DMS, network shares, and records systems like iManage.
• Knowledge of management principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Identify business requirements to automate IG processes.
• Coordinate with Information Services for IG systems hardware.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and training for IG software/hardware.
• Improve data quality in IG systems.
• Assist in developing and maintaining DMS workspace structures and classifications.
• Prepare reports and metrics on IG program effectiveness.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional standards.
