Job summary

Stinson LLP seeks an Information Governance Development Support Specialist to serve as the IG contact for software and hardware, implementing and training users, and supporting data quality and audits.

The role involves coordinating information flows with staff, testing software, and maintaining DMS workspaces while documenting procedures and classifications. Strong independent work and customer service are essential in a fast-paced office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in records management, business law, or computer technology.
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in information management with electronic data in DMS, network shares and records systems.
• Knowledge of management principles, theories and practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as IG point of contact for software/hardware used by IG including implementation, training, troubleshooting, testing and data quality.
• Coordinate with staff to acquire/release information to/from DMS and records systems while ensuring compliance with guidelines.
• Assist in developing and maintaining DMS workspace structures and templates; document procedures and conduct data quality improvements.
• Prepare reports/metrics to communicate operational effectiveness of the IG program.
