Job summary

American Airlines is seeking an Inflight Operations Liaison to connect IOC and Inflight teams, coordinating notifications for events affecting crewmembers and ensuring timely reporting. You will collaborate with multiple departments to manage disruptions and communicate effectively with leadership.

The role emphasizes flexibility, shift rotations including overnights and weekends, and a strong emphasis on judgment, organization and cross‑functional collaboration within the Integrated Operations

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; flexible schedule including shift rotations
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred; aviation experience valued
• Experience in inflight operations or crew tracking/scheduling is a plus
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and multi-task across projects

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for operational events impacting crew health and safety
• Ensure proper event notification and reporting
• Coordinate with Inflight Management, Crew Scheduling Tracking, Risk Management and APFA on significant events
• Create operational reports and delay summaries for Inflight leadership
