Job summary

American Airlines is seeking a Duty Manager to join our operations team in the United States. The role supports the customer experience department, ensuring safety and operational efficiency for flight attendants and related crews.

You will coordinate between IOC and Flight Operations, monitor events, and prepare performance reports. The position requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. Travel benefits apply as part of our employee programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Experience in aviation operations is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple programs and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between IOC and Flight Operations.
• First point of contact for operational events affecting safety.
• Coordinate reporting with Flight Operations Management and APFA.
• Create performance reports and delays summaries using CERS.
• Work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
